Vera began formulating Vera’s Vittles Seasonings after being diagnosed with high blood pressure. Her intent was to find a way to improve her condition without embarking on a diet of distasteful foods. After a few months of researching and enjoying the blends of herbs and spices she used in her cooking she and her sister decided it would be a clever idea to prepare these blends for others to receive the health benefits and culinary enjoyment. As a result, Vera’s Vittles Seasonings has become a healthful and tasteful culinary alternative to salt and a growing business that is beneficial to your health.
Vera wants to cultivate the understanding that a healthy meal can be appetizing and delicious. There are benefits in smelling the delightful aromas and receiving the medicinal rewards of herbs and spices in various dishes.
Seasonings are only the beginning. There is a calendar with healthy recipes; a food guide; a newsletter with cooking advice, preparation tips that include the health benefits of the herbs, and spices. You can also visit the website. Vera also does customer consultations, workshops and tastings that address the benefits of healthy eating with herbs and spices while avoiding the excessive use of salt.
